The church, hall and meeting rooms are all available for hire by local groups and businesses. There are three meeting-rooms, the largest holding up to 30 people. The coffee bar in the welcome area is available. Broadband is available. Click here to enquire about making a booking.
Concerts
Wesley is frequently hired for concerts by local ensembles. The Hall contains an upright piano and makes a good rehearsal / informal performance space. The Church contains a quality pipe organ and mini-grand piano [see Music in Worship]. If you wish to enquire about hiring the church please click here to contact us for more details.

Women’s Centre
The Churches in Reading Women’s Centre is a charitably-supported self-help group open to all women. It offers a friendly family atmosphere and a listening ear, with opportunities for women to share skills and support each other. Sewing, cooking, typing, computers, art, crafts, and much more. Includes refreshments and lunch. Turn up between 10.00am and 4.30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or between 11.00am and 2.30pm on Thursdays.
CIRDIC & CCA
Wesley and its members support other Christian work throughout Reading, such as CIRDIC (Churches in Reading Drop-In Centre) and CCA (Christian Community Action).
Self-help groups
The church is used regularly by several self-help groups as a safe environment free from alcohol and drugs.
REinspired
REinspired is an educational charity supported by individuals and churches throughout Earley and East Reading, with additional finance from several Christian charitable trusts. Its aim is to enable schools and their pupils to develop spiritually and engage creatively with faith. It does this by providing RE lessons that fulfil the national curriculum, assemblies, 6th form conferences and transitional events, using teams of volunteers co-ordinated by staff members. Wesley is a supporter of REinspired.
