Christingle Sunday 4 December at 5.00pm
Come and make a Christingle and join in a candlelight celebration for all the family. It is a special time of togetherness, friendship and fun. A lovely start to celebrating Christmas.
We hope you can come. There will be a collection for The Children's Society.
The International Peace Light is expected to be at Wesley 16-18 December. Norman Smart organizes that for us. As he explains, the light is first lit in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, from where it goes to Vienna for a special service on 10 December at 14:00 (13:00 GMT). Then the light is distributed across Europe. It reaches the UK at Dover, where a welcome service is held. The light will arrive in Reading on 14 December.
